Enhancing mental health and well-being for students and staff |
Breakfast program, Fun Friends Program (Gr. 1,4,6), Staff Room Snacks, School Counsellor, ICW Worker, ISSL Worker, created a sensory room, provided hallway regulation activities, each staff was provided with First Aid/CPR training, EA support, NVCI Training for all staff, accessible lunches for in need students, Trauma Informed practices, Mindset and resiliency strategies being taught, communication with parents. The division provides relevant PD opportunities to all staff. |
All Norquay students are offered breakfast everyday and lunch was provided to those students who were in need. All students have access to regulation equipment and spaces as needed. Counsellor/ICW/ISSL are easily accessed by all students. |
